Jakarta - Head of Auction committee of Toll Road Regulatory Agency (BPJT) Eka Pria Anas said, Semarang-Demak toll segment auction process is canceled. The toll with the investment as worth as reached 20-21 trillion Rupiah was previously planned by  BUJT can already  be auctioned  in the first of 2018. There are previously several qualified companies in the pre-qualification phase of this concession, then eventually to discontinue dealing with the change of project coverage, the prequalification process should be re-made.

Within this prequalification cancelation process, there are possibilities to other consortium which has interested in the toll segment to take a part of prequalification auction process. Eka Convinced that the prequalification process only be made after analysis permit process is released regarding to environment impact and stipulation area is confirmed.

Herry Trisaputra Zuna Head of BUJT stated, the gov’t prepared new 6 toll road to auction and offering to the private including Semarang-Demak as the one of National strategic project and government development focus. The six of toll segments are Semarang-Demak-Balaraja-TelukNaga, Samarinda-Bontang, Bawen-Yogyakarta and Cileunyi-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap.
