Jakarta - Monday April 16th 2018, two toll roads which are Jagorawi and Tangerang are now officially trial the odd-even regulation. The regulation adopted from Bekasi toll road that previously implemented the regulation successful.

Since today is 16, so this is the time for even numbered plate (cars number) to pass through the Jagorawi-Tangerang on 06.00-09.00 a.m. The officer seen to organize the cars from Cibubur Junction toward to Jagorawi toll road.

The head of traffic policy, Board Commissioner Benyamin says the traffic start to get crowded before 06.00 a.m. Furthermore, he is sure that citizen support the implementation and optimistic the traffic will be reduced within a week by implementing the regulation trial.

“Before 06.00 a.m. started to crowded, the citizen didn’t know how to fix this yet, different to the Cikampek citizen, they did it. I’m pretty sure, before a week of trial, the traffic will be reduced,” he said.

In Tangerang, policy officer and also transportation officer are watching right on the fork road to Jakarta and Karawaci.

“Those whose number is not suitable, we transfer them to take Karawaci route since there is no odd-even regulation there,” said the Unit Head of Bitung toll road III, Ipda Gieyarto.

Beside the odd even regulation, it will be implement the route for public vehicle.

“To support private car user to use public transportation or bus in the two toll roads, we provide 20 buses on each toll road with the cheap bus fare. The bus can be added if necessary,” said Bambang Prihartono, head of BPTJ.

Bambang also informs the special way for public vehicle will be imposed from Bogor to Pasar Rebo (toward Jakarta) at 06.00-09.00 a.m. every Monday to Friday except on national holiday.
