First Phase of LRT Construction on May 2019 Accomplished
Jakarta – The Jabodebek Light Rail Transit (LRT) project construction has reached 34% underway from a total of 34 km lenght. Director of Operations PT AdhiKarya (Persero) as the contractor of Jabodetabek LRT Pundjung Setya said that the LRT trajectory for connecting Cawang-Cibubur has reached 57.3% of the total length of 14.3 km.
"Currently the progress has 34% the development is already 34%, Cawang-Cibubur is most advanced," Pundjung said
For the East Cawang-Bekasi LRT trajectory currently has reached 28.7%, also for Cawang-Kuningan-Dukuh Atas just reached 17.7%. now the works to focus on long span or long stretch that connects 3 trajectory with a length of 40 meters to 146 meters bridge.

The Jabodebek LRT project has a good construction resistance under the lead rubber bearing (LRB) technology, or bearings mounted between pierhead and u-shape grinder construction.
By this technology is believed to withstand earthquake vibration up to 8 Richter Scale. hence the vibration load that occurs feels lower
The Jabodebek LRT construction undergone since the last 2015 as a government great project that takes huge cost. Therefore, in the implementation of LRT construction, the Government under take join funding cooperation with the private.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani declined that the project will be more challenging to realize if the funding only depends on the state budget. Therefore, the best way to accomplish the LRT project is involving the private investors.
"If the infrastructure projects only use the state budget and ABPD, LRT Jabodebek that’s probably takes 12 years for completion. If we want to finish 2-3 years then we must use blending financing but still feasibility, technical must be in good. the financing can we borrow that is returned in 12 years, "Minister Sri Mulyani said
