Manado-Bitung Toll Road Projection Reached 14.97%
Manado - Manado-Bitung Toll Road construction undertaken by PT Jasamarga Manado Bitung (JMB) continues to accelerate the settlement, this is because the fulfillment of the operating target set in early 2019. Until now the progress of Manado-Bitung toll road construction has reached 14, 97%.
George IMP Manurung as President Director of PT JMB said that it has accelerated the construction of physical construction and land acquisition for tolls that have a length of 39.9 km.
George also said that the progress of construction of projects included in the National Strategic Project (PSN) for Section II A (Airmadidi-Danowudu) reached 47.456% and Section II B (Danowudu-Bitung) reached 0.65%, while the total progress for construction from both sections reached 14.97%. For Section II B, the progress of its construction will be increased in relation to the increase of land already acquired in January 2018.
For land acquisition, Section II A has reached 97.74% while for Section II B has reached 59.29% of the total land required for the construction of this toll road. Although fairly smooth, there was an obstacle in freeing up land for Section II B that finally can be resolved.
George admitted the acceleration of Manado-Bitung toll road development is quite positive and meet the target set by his team.
"So far the construction of the Manado-Bitung Toll Road has had a positive progress. We always make acceleration in the field of construction and land acquisition. In terms of land acquisition, we took various efforts, one of which is to coordinate with the National Land Agency and KDP Land, "explains George.
Later, if this toll is fully operational, it will cut the cost of logistics distribution to every area between Manado and Bitung. This becomes important because it can cut travel time between two cities becomes shorter, ie from the original time spent 90 to 120 minutes journey to 45 minutes travel alone.
