Minister Basuki inspects Toll Semarang Project
Semarang – Construction progress of toll road projects Trans Java interconnected are keep monitored by the government. Minister of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) Yesterday (6/3/2018) , Basuki Hadimuljono to have the opportunity visiting Semarang-Solo Toll Road project which is part of Trans Java Toll Road Great project. His visit is addressed to view the progress of the project to be used in this year's mudik season.
Minister Basuki conveyed the development progress of Salatiga-Semarang toll road which has reached 32 km has been completed 98%. Furthermore Minister Basuki will review the Semarang-Batang line on this day (7/3/2018). Minister Basuki also added that there are still challenges in the construction of this toll road, namely the construction of a bridge in Kenteng, Salatiga.
"There is one critical point that becomes the challenge of building a bridge in Kenteng, Salatiga. This bridge has entered the stage of 48% and is targeted to operate this year. But for the Mudik season we will try all can be functioned, " Minister Basuki explained .
Minister Basuki hopes the Semarang-Batang Toll project can be used functionally for this mudik year's to reduce the congestion in some of the northern route of Java Island.
"lets see April and May againn. There are still two reviews. Hopefully June is completed and this year’s Mudik is better than last year, " Minister Basuki said.
