Jakarta - Sunday (23/3/2018), the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi met President Joko Widodo. As the meeting held, Budi says he notes for at least 3 points about toll road. To decrease the tariff of toll road in Indonesia that have beneficial for citizen and does not adverse the toll road manager, Indonesia President says the toll road manager should be given the extensional concession. There also convenience for the tax to the toll road manager. In addition, the classification for vehicle grouping will help in decreasing toll’s tariff.

As what Jokowi commands to decrease toll’s tariff on 20-30 percents. 10-25 percents for private cars/vehicle and 30-40 percents for logistics vehicle.

Budi says Ministry of Transportation together with Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) and Ministry of State-owned Enterprise (BUMN) will consider the last option for extensional concession before the regulation about toll’s tariff was legalized by Ministry of PUPR on Tuesday (27/03/2018). As the instruction of President, the new tariff has to be decreased on mudik season 2018.

“Therefore, we do it as soon as possible, before lebaran day,” he said.
