Padang - The National Land Agency (BPN) ensures that the construction of Padang Pariaman-Pekanbaru toll road can start on this month after the administrator is clear. According to the Head of  West Sumatera PUPR Agency, Fathol Bari, the toll road execution will follow the schedule that has been assigned by the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR).

“The land that has been acquisioned was about 4,2 Km for By Pass segment on the Km 25 of Batang anai to Sicincin and the fixing has been done,” said Fathol Bari.

The execution of the first segment of By Pass Km 25 plan to be done on next June 2019, aligned with Pekanbaru-Dumai segment.  Along with Ministry of PUPR, PUPR Agency done fixing the second phase on the beginning of this month and 4,2 Km has been completed. Some obstacles find in constructing the toll, for example is the land that have not been acquisioned yet.
