Jakarta -Ministry of Transportation says he wants to build weigh bridge on Jakarta – Cikampek toll road. This is because of 90 percents of overload offence happen during the last mudik season. Previously, Ministry of Transportation will restrict the heavy vehicle on toll road particularly on Jakarta – Bekasi toll road.

“It is not essential for heavy vehicle to be restricted, but in our notes, mostly 90 percents over dimension overload. So, we’re gonna trial on toll road, particularly on Jakarta –Bekasi,” said Budi Karya Sumadi.

The overload vehicle indeed inhibits another vehicle then it will gain the traffic crowd. The overload vehicle also makes road condition to break faster. Ministry of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi adds that they coordinated with jasa Marga as the operator to build weigh bridge on Jakarta – Cikampek toll road.

“I hope, it will be on the very begining of toll entry, the trasition road between national road to toll road or on the rest area,” he added.
