Jakarta - The trial for Mampang-Kuningan Underpass will be held on yesterday, April 11 2018. This is confirmed by the Bina Mrga Office of DKI Jakarta.

“The trial will be on Wednesday (4/11), yesterday,” said Head of interchange and plot road of Bina Marga Office of DKI Jakarta, Heru Sumondo.

Heru adds that the trial aimed to see the condition of traffic in Mampang-Kuningan area near by the underpass.

“We hope the constuction of underpass able to reduce the crowded traffic and also to support mobilization by bus Transjakarta,” he explained.

Meantime, the Project Engineering Manager of Mampang Kuningan project of PT Adhi Karya, Achmad Nuruddin Zain conveys that they have completed all the phase of the underpass construction. The phase that is still doing is drainage submission.

The 885 meters length with 16-21 meters width have 2 paths and each of paths consist of 4 lanes that can conduct 2 cars. The underpass construction aimed to reduce traffict jam and also eliminate the intersection.

“The path is effective to reduce cars volume above the underpass so the cars that lead to Kuningan to Mampang or the otherwise will be smoother,” said Achmad
