Operational at The End of 2018, Kualanamu—Sei Rampah Toll Road Still Constrained Land Acquisition
Medan –The construction of Kualanamu—Sei Rampah toll road has reached 54% as the plan goes by, the toll road will operate at the end of 2018 but still constrained about land acquisitions. The land acquisition progress nor has reached 90%. Project Manager of Kualanamu—Sei Rampah toll road, Safarlih explains that they keep trying to completing the rest of it.
“Our target will be complete at the end of 2018, now is on 54%. The main obstacle is the land acquisition process, nearly 90% and the rest still constrained in administrational,” said Safarlih.
He also says that the land acquisitions happend because some of them are wakaf land area(donated for religious or community use).
“It’s hard since those are wakaf land area (cemetery),” Safarlih added.
Djarot Saiful Hidayat that also visiting the project conveys that government now is planning a strategy to protect the citizen livelihood.
“We should anticipate for their livelihood although we do appreciate Mr. Jokowi to build infrastructure. Most of national projects in North Sumatera (Sumut) are complete. The effort has proved,” Djarot said.
For your information, for Kualanamu—Sei Rampah is part of the Kualanamu—Tebing Tinggi toll road that is also part of Trans Sumatera toll road, one of government’s priority project in North Sumatera.
