Transportation Management of Jabodetabek (BPTJ) studied about the odd-even regulation implementation in Jagorawi toll road.  As the studied, the socialization will be start on April 16 2018. The odd-even regulation is trying to be implemented through the Jagorawi toll road after see the result of the same regulation in Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, especially in Bekasi toll road.

Different from Bekasi, according to Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Jagorawi will only adopt two regulations which are odd-even regulation and the public transportation way.

“Jagorawi don’t need car restrictions because there is no load vehicle pass through,” said Budi Karya Sumadi.

BPTJ Public Relation , Budi Raharjo adds that there are two regulations will be applied on Jagorawi, those are special way for public transportation )LKAU) from Bogor-Pasar Rebo and premium bus route development (JR Connection) in several residences.

The residences that are going to be JR Connection target are Legenda Wisata, Citra Grand, Cibubur Country, Metland Transyogi and Cibubur Residence.

Bambang Prihartono as the Head of BPTJ says the odd-even regulation in Jagorawi toll section will be started at Cibubur II Gate. The selection of Cibubur II becomes the starting point because that is the most crowded gate compares to the other. About 34.278 cars pass through the Cibubur II Gate in a day.

“Because the traffict is too high, so we implement the regulation. Our hope, by the implementation, the transportation performance will get higher,” said Bambang.

As well as Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, the regulation in Jagorawi toll road will be started on 6.00 am. untill 9.00 am. in Monday-Friday, except holiday.
