Jakarta - Based on Presidential Regulation No. 58/2017 on National Strategic Projects, the Ministry of PUPR gets the most total workmanship compared to other ministries. The projects mandated by the Ministry of PUPR are 69 toll roads, 54 dams, 7 irrigation, 1 sea embankment, 5 national roads, 3 national border post (PLBN) and 3 housing projects.

As of January 2018, 14 projects out of a total of 151 mandated projects have been completed. The completed project consists of 3 dams, 3 toll roads, 3 national roads, 3 PLBN and 2 housing units.

In 2018, as many as 15 new projects will begin construction, the remaining 80 projects are still in the implementation stage. 40 projects that have not started this year, will begin construction in 2019, a project will be done after 2019.

Minister of Public Works and People's Housing, Basoeki Hadimoeldjono explained, he targets all projects can be done and completed on time. This is because the main problem is that land acquisition is no longer an obstacle in project implementation.
