Palembang - On Monday (25/3/2018), South Sumatera Governor Alex Noerdin says the trial operational schedule and also electrical signal test of Light Rail Transit (LRT) Palembang are important.

“The electrical signal test is important as the LRT is driven by the electric power,” he said.

The test intended to know how fast is the train movement. The test will be going for one month and target to fully operated in June 2018. The 23 kilometers length that starts from Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport to Jakabaring Sportcity will pass by eight train sets with consist of three cars each.

The construction of LRT is aimed to help the Asian Games 2018. Alex also adds to the garden arrangement and other supporting facilities will complete no longer.
